RECTIFIER SYSTEM UPGRADING OR MODERNIZATION
Westinghouse Rectifier systems have been used to supply DC power in hundreds of Electrochemical Process facilities and other industrial facilities throughout the world, for over fifty years. The Buffalo Power Electronics Center (BPEC) continues to supply various industries with the latest technology rectifiers formally supplied by Westinghouse.
The installed base of Westinghouse and BPEC rectifier systems is tremendous and continuously growing. Often times, after a system has been in service for a period of time, a user may wish to make a modification to the system.
Because of the long life span of Westinghouse and BPEC rectifier systems, units that have been in service for decades are frequently modified, upgraded or modernized to extend their usefulness. It is often a very cost-effective alternative to purchasing new equipment.
